Fronie Rideout

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Fronie Rideout, age 95 years, formerly of Summerford, NL announce her passing at Lakeside Homes, Gander, NL on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

She is predeceased by her parents Samuel & Agnes, step-mom Winnie, husband Leslie, son-in-law Ross, siblings Myrtle, Dorcas (Norman), Vincent (Rita), Agnes (Pearce), Jack (Eileen), Hardy (Bertha), Bernice (Wallace), Lucy (Albert), Eldon (Edna), siblings-in-law Wallace, Clarence (Alma), Overton, Wycliffe, Shirley (Robert), Pleaman and step-brother Cyril (Kitty).

Left with fond and loving memories are her children Sadie (Oswald), Pearl (Bill), Ford (Cassie), Verna, Vaden, Yvonne (Lewis), Holly, Paul (Cora), Nelson (Angela), grandchildren Connie (Carson), Richard (Coralee), Morgan (Yvonne), Crystal (Morley), Natalie (Craig), Devin (Jenilee), Cyril (Dena), Tracy (Andy), Mark (Sarah), Sheldon, Wanda-Lee (James), Shannon (Hilary), Conrad (Gina), Jolene, Jonathan, Shane (Kate), great-grandchildren Brady (Lillian), Lucas, Chelsea, Myles, Sonny, Lesley, Michael, Jagen, Brooke, Jennika (Mitchell), Sophie, Seth, Olivia, William, Keisha, Rebecca, James, Jenna, Serenity, Paul, Mataia (Cody), Joshua, Cameron, Brendon, Carter, Kylie, Emma, great-great-grandchildren Parker, Kinsley, Leeland, Everleigh, Camreigh, Justice, Cooper, Alayna, Noah, siblings Sadie, Hope (David), Joan (Lloyd), Melvin (Nancy), Bruce (Daisy), Norman (Nola), siblings-in-law Bernice, Margaret, Kathleen, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews extended family and friends.

Resting at Summerford Pentecostal Church with public visitation on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 7-9 p.m. as well as Monday, January 19, 2026 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the church on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor S. Holmes officiating.

Donations in Fronie's memory may be given to the Alzheimer's Society.
